California has this really informative resource on pollution across the state. It is amazing and depressing. I used the resource with my students and they saw the disparity between high and low income communities. Here is the link:

Have you seen the "Show your Stripes" campaign? It started as a global campaign here. Now you can find the data for your city here. It is a bit limiting in that it only focuses on metropolitan areas, which can start an entire discussion on data collection methods etc. Still an excellent visualization of the data. You can even order your city, state, country, or globe on merch.
