Screencasting: Down and Dirty GuideIncrease Engagement, Unleash Creativity and Communicate Understanding
Looking for new ways to interact with your students? Let's face it, teaching and learning remotely has its challenges. Authentic assessment, meaningful feedback and student engagement (all while protecting student privacy) can be difficult even in the best of circumstances. How can we accomplish these things at a distance?
ENTER....SCREENCASTING!
Led by Sian Proctor, a select group of Infiniscope Advisory Board members will talk about the variety of ways you can use screencasting to teach, assess student learning, and give feedback with concrete ideas and applications from their very own physical and online classrooms.
What is screencasting? Screencasting refers to digitally recording audio in combination with information on a computer screen. It's really simple to do and there are a number of free tools that will be discussed to help you get started.
